Tillandsia Cyanea ‘Anton’

The Tillandsia Cyanea ‘Anton’ is an attractive variety of Tillandsia Cyanea belonging to the Bromeliaceae family, highly valued for its compact habit, balanced growth, and showy flowering. It is an ideal plant for indoor decoration and simple cultivation.

The Tillandsia Cyanea is native to Ecuador, where it grows naturally in humid forests, as an epiphytic or terrestrial plant, in conditions of filtered light, high humidity, and stable temperatures.

The ‘Anton’ variety is characterized by its more compact and neat growth, with slightly shorter leaves and a denser rosette, which makes it especially decorative and manageable.

The Tillandsia Cyanea ‘Anton’ develops compact rosettes of long, narrow, and soft leaves, deep green in color, with a very elegant tropical aesthetic.

Its growth is moderate, and after flowering, it produces offsets at the base, forming new specimens.

During the flowering season, generally in spring or summer, it develops an inflorescence in the shape of a flat, deep pink spike, from which violet flowers emerge, creating a very striking contrast.

Thanks to its size, ease of cultivation, and ornamental value, the Tillandsia Cyanea ‘Anton’ is ideal for bright interiors, pot decoration, tropical spaces, or decorative arrangements, being highly appreciated.
