The Neoregelia Amaranda is an epiphytic plant, native to Brazil and belonging to the Bromeliaceae family, known for its attractive foliage and vibrant colors.

The Neoregelia Amaranda is distinguished by its broad, flat leaves arranged in a rosette. The predominant color is a deep shade of green that contrasts with markings and spots of lighter or even reddish tones in the center of the leaves.

As the plant matures, the color of its leaves can intensify, revealing more vibrant shades of red, purple, or even orange, especially during flowering.

During its flowering phase, the Neoregelia Amaranda produces a central inflorescence that can be light-toned, adding additional appeal to the plant.

This variety of Neoregelia generally has a moderate size, making it suitable for more compact spaces or for being grown in pots.

Although the Neoregelia Amaranda is relatively easy to care for, it is essential to provide the right conditions to maintain its health and beauty.

It prefers bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun exposure, as it can burn the leaves.

It adapts well to warm temperatures, between 18-27 °C. Protect from cold drafts.

Use a well-draining substrate specifically for epiphytic bromeliads. They can grow well in mixtures of coconut fiber and pine bark.

Keep the substrate moist, but not waterlogged. Ensure that water does not accumulate at the base of the rosette to avoid rot.

It prefers moderate humidity levels. Mist the leaves with water occasionally to provide additional moisture.

During the growing season, apply a balanced fertilizer every 2-4 weeks.

It can produce side shoots after flowering, which can be separated and replanted to propagate the plant.

It is advisable to remove dead or damaged leaves to encourage healthy growth.

Bark support not included.
