- 1 Argentea: This variety of air plant or Tillandsia comes from Cuba and Jamaica. It is very similar to Tillandsia fuchsii. Tillandsia argentea differs primarily in terms of the color of its floral parts and its leaves, with margins curved back on themselves. Very elegant when suspended. When the Tillandsia or Argentea air plant reaches its adult form, it can measure approximately 12 centimeters in diameter. The base of the plant is bulb-shaped, its leaves are very fine and fibrous, the leaves that form the inflorescence turn a silver color, blue with a touch of green, it presents very few flowers, these are a very peculiar color like cherries, a particularly beautiful color; the Argentea air plant variety usually grows alone or in small colonies of a few individuals.
- 1 Reichenbachii: A Tillandsia native to southern Bolivia and central Argentina. A plant with thick, firm leaves covered in white scales. It has a pleasant violet scent. Its flowers are blue with a white center.
- 1 Fuchsii Mexico: A Tillandsia native to Mexico. It creates a dense, homogeneous arch with numerous tight leaves, from which red to brown flowers grow. An attractive silver tint is noticeable, more pronounced in the center of the plant.
