Tillandsia Caerulea
The Tillandsia Caerulea is an elegant botanical species belonging to the Bromeliaceae family, highly prized for its fragrant blooming, compact size, and ease of cultivation. It is an ideal air plant for collectors and lovers of scented tillandsias.
This species is native to South America, especially Peru and Bolivia, where it grows naturally as an epiphytic or saxicolous plant in environments with high luminosity, good ventilation, and a temperate to dry climate, adapting well to different conditions.
The Tillandsia Caerulea develops compact rosettes with thin, soft, and slightly arched leaves, gray-green in color with the presence of trichomes, maintaining a balanced and highly decorative structure.
Its growth is moderate and over time it produces offsets, forming small clusters.
During the flowering season, generally in spring or summer, it develops an inflorescence with tubular flowers in bluish or violet tones, highly prized for their intense aroma, one of the most outstanding characteristics of this species.
Thanks to its fragrance, size, and ease of cultivation, the Tillandsia Caerulea is ideal for collections, indoor decor in bright spaces, mounts on wood, or arrangements where its aroma can be enjoyed.
