Tillandsia Elizabethae
The Tillandsia Elizabethae is an elegant botanical species belonging to the Bromeliaceae family, highly valued for its compact size, soft leaves, and delicate aesthetic. It is an air plant ideal for collectors and fine arrangements.
This species is native to Mexico, growing in the forests of the State of Sinaloa naturally as an epiphytic plant in dry forest or transition zone environments, with good light, ventilation, and moderate humidity, adapting well to cultivation.
The Tillandsia Elizabethae develops compact and balanced rosettes, with fine, soft, and slightly arched leaves of a grayish-green color with a moderate presence of trichomes.
Its texture is more flexible and delicate than in tougher xerophytic species, which gives it a more refined appearance.
Its growth is moderate and over time it produces pups, forming small clusters.
During the flowering season, generally in spring or summer, it develops an inflorescence with pinkish or reddish bracts and violet tubular flowers, creating an attractive contrast.
Thanks to its size, aesthetics, and ease of cultivation, the Tillandsia Elizabethae is ideal for collections, open terrariums, decoration in bright interiors, or mounts on wood, where it provides an elegant touch.
