Tillandsia Heather Blush
The Tillandsia Heather Blush is an ornamental hybrid highly prized for its broad habit, its elegant rosette shape, and its striking blooming coloration. It is a cross of Tillandsia brachycaulos x Tillandsia exserta, developed in cultivation.
This hybrid develops an open rosette formed by rigid, arched, and well-defined leaves, with a slightly silvery finish. Under optimal conditions, it can reach a remarkable size, forming large and very showy specimens.
In cultivation, it stands out for its great decorative value, its balanced structure, and its elegant appearance, being ideal both for collectors and for larger decorative arrangements. Its leaves can take on reddish, pink, or purple hues, especially with good lighting or during the blooming phase.
Its growth is moderate and it develops plants of good volume. As it is a hybrid between two open-habit species, it maintains a broad and ornamental silhouette, highly valued in air plant decoration.
During flowering, it develops a tall, intense reddish-pink floral spike, with long and stylized bracts. The plant can display a marked reddish or purple blush on the leaves, increasing its visual appeal.
Thanks to its size, resistance, and aesthetics, the Tillandsia Heather Blush is ideal for decoration, mounts on wood or cork, collections, or spaces with good lighting.
