Tillandsia Kashkin

The Tillandsia Kashkin is an epiphytic species native to Bolivia, highly prized for its elegant carriage, its rarity, and its interesting history within the cultivation of tillandsias. It is related to the Tillandsia Jucunda, and in cultivation, it has also been considered a plant very close to a natural hybrid of Bolivian origin.

It presents a light and highly ornamental silhouette, with growth that tends to form pleasant clumps over time. It is a plant with a delicate appearance but is rewarding to grow, ideal for collectors and for those looking for a different kind of tillandsia with personality and a good visual presence.

Its growth is moderate and it prefers conditions with plenty of light and good air circulation, maintaining a very attractive structure over time. Thanks to its origin, its rarity, and its ornamental character, the Tillandsia Kashkin is ideal for collections, decorative mounts, and compositions on wood, cork, or stone.

During flowering, it can produce fragrant flowers in yellow tones, a trait for which it has also been known in cultivation. This flowering reinforces its ornamental value and makes it especially interesting among tillandsias of Bolivian origin.

Thanks to its elegance, its rarity, and its attractive flowering, the Tillandsia Kashkin is an excellent option for those looking for a decorative, uncommon air plant that is easy to integrate into bright spaces.
