Tillandsia Novakii
The Tillandsia Novakii is an epiphytic air plant species native to the State of Veracruz in Mexico, highly valued for its elegant posture, open structure, and attractive color contrast. It is a highly ornamental tillandsia with a special presence due to both its foliage and its flowering.
It features a specimen with numerous long leaves in reddish tones, grooved and covered in trichomes, which give it delicate silvery highlights. This combination of color, texture, and shape gives it a light, showy, and highly decorative silhouette.
It is a good-sized plant, with an approximate diameter of 35 cm and an approximate height of 20 cm, making it a tillandsia with presence, ideal to show off as a protagonist piece in arrangements, displays, or collections.
During flowering, it produces an inflorescence formed by several spikes of pink bracts, from which beautiful white flowers with purple edges emerge. The contrast between the bracts, the reddish foliage, and the purple borders of the flowers creates a particularly elegant and very striking ensemble.
Thanks to its long reddish leaves, its silvery highlights, its good size, and its delicate, highly ornamental flowering, the Tillandsia Novakii is an excellent choice for those looking for a showy, refined air plant with a lot of personality.
