Tillandsia Pohliana
The Tillandsia Pohliana is an epiphytic species native to South America, found in Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina, where it grows and develops on rocks, undergrowth, and attached to tree bark. It is a tillandsia highly prized for its elegant bearing and for an especially delicate and striking bloom.
This specimen develops long, channelled leaves that are curved at the tips, a trait that gives it a very dynamic, light, and ornamental silhouette. Its leaves show whitish tones, a characteristic it receives due to the large amount of trichomes it generates on its surface, as we can see in photo no. 3.
Its appearance is very decorative even when not in bloom, thanks to that light, arched, and flowing foliage. The combination of long leaves, trichomatous texture, and whitish coloration gives it a very refined and distinct presence within the genus.
During blooming, it produces a very striking inflorescence, with white and pink flowers, creating a soft and elegant contrast with the whitish foliage. The floral ensemble is especially attractive and gives the plant a very high ornamental value.
Thanks to its long, channelled leaves, its curved tips, its whitish tones, and its delicate white and pink bloom, the Tillandsia Pohliana is an excellent choice for those looking for an elegant, bright, and highly personal air plant.
