Tillandsia Wagneriana
The Tillandsia Wagneriana is an impressive botanical species belonging to the Bromeliaceae family, highly valued for its robust habit, broad leaves, and one of the most striking blooms within the genus. It is an air plant ideal for collectors and spaces where it can shine as a focal point.
This species is native to Mexico and Central America, including Guatemala, where it grows naturally as an epiphytic plant in environments with high light, good ventilation, and a warm or temperate climate with a certain level of ambient humidity.
The Tillandsia Wagneriana develops large rosettes of broad, soft, and arched leaves, ranging in color from green to grayish-green. Its size can be considerable compared to other tillandsias, making it a very eye-catching plant.
Its growth is slow to moderate but steady, and over time it can produce pups, forming groups with a great presence.
One of its greatest attractions is its spectacular bloom, which usually occurs in spring or summer, developing a large branched inflorescence with intense pink bracts and violet tubular flowers, which are very long-lasting and ornamental.
Thanks to its size, elegance, and flowering, the Tillandsia Wagneriana is ideal for decorating with air plants, bright interiors, collections, or large displays on wood or decorative structures, where it can stand out.
