The Tillandsia Wonga is an attractive ornamental hybrid belonging to the Bromeliaceae family, highly valued for its compact growth, resilience, and ease of maintenance. It is an ideal air plant for both beginners and collectors.

This hybrid comes from the cross between Tillandsia Duratii and Tillandsia Crocata, combining the best of both species.

The Tillandsia Duratii, native to South America (Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina), contributes its elongated structure, twisted leaves, and high resistance, in addition to its ability to adapt to variable conditions.

For its part, the Tillandsia Crocata, also native to South America, is known for its more compact size, fine leaves, and its characteristic fragrant flowering in yellow tones, bringing elegance and aroma to the hybrid.

Thanks to this genetic combination, the Tillandsia Wonga develops a compact structure with thin and slightly twisted leaves, creating a plant with a dynamic and decorative appearance.

Its growth is moderate, and over time it produces pups, forming ornamental clusters.

During the flowering season, generally in spring or summer, it can develop flowers in yellow tones with a slight aroma, inheriting the characteristic fragrance of Crocata.

Thanks to its resistance, size, and attractiveness, the Tillandsia Wonga is ideal for decorating with air plants, collections, open terrariums, or mounting on wood and cork, making it a very versatile option.
